I like this topic. I've come across at least one podfic that was abridged, although I haven't read the written version so I don't know what was out out. And I've totally hit stories that read totally fine but when you say them, they come off as repetitive or confusing.

I'd also be interested to hear what people's takes are on typos and small errors within the text. I know I've run across a couple fics that are great stories but I've been put off from podficing them since I noticed a couple such errors and didn't want to deal with having to either read the wrong line or change the source in my reading of it.
